Why Pay For Private Treatment?

You Have a Choice When It Comes to Your Smile - NHS dentist? Local private clinic? Specialist provider?

What Makes Us Worth It?

We believe great dentistry starts with time, care, and trust. That’s why we never rush your appointments. Our shortest session is 30 minutes, giving you the space to feel confident, ask questions, and explore the best options for your smile—without pressure.

Because we operate privately, we’re able to use the highest-quality materials and the latest techniques.

Our dentists are continuously investing in training and peer review, so your care is always informed by up-to-date knowledge and delivered with clinical excellence.

We also keep things simple and transparent: there are no membership fees or monthly charges. With our pay-as-you-go approach, you only pay for the treatment you receive—nothing more.

When you choose us, you're choosing tailored, high-quality care that puts your needs and results first.

Our dentists have worked in both NHS and private practices, and the difference is clear.

Under the NHS, fixed fee structures often limit what can realistically be offered within the time and budget available. This one-size-fits-all approach can restrict the quality, materials, and time that go into your treatment.

Private dentistry is different. It gives us the freedom to tailor treatments to your individual needs—whether that means spending the time required for a more complex procedure or using premium materials that aren’t available under NHS guidelines. For example, a beautifully crafted crown made with precious metals simply can’t be compared to a basic NHS alternative.

Yes, private care may cost more—but you're not paying more for the same thing. You’re investing in higher-quality materials, more time, and more attention to detail. Most importantly, you're receiving a level of care that reflects our professional pride and commitment to excellence.

At our practice, we believe in delivering outstanding dentistry—carefully, beautifully, and without compromise.

Why Choose Private Dental Care?

How Much Will It All Cost?

We understand that the cost of dental care is a concern for many patients. That’s why, we take the time to discuss all treatment options and fees with you upfront. If you'd like, we’ll also provide you with a written estimate before any treatment begins—so there are no surprises and absolutely no hidden costs.

We always recommend starting with the most important treatments first—typically those that restore or protect your oral health. These are often the most affordable and essential steps toward long-term dental wellbeing.

From there, you and your dentist can explore other options—at your pace and within your budget. More advanced treatments can be planned in stages to suit your financial comfort. These might include:

  • Dental sedation for nervous patients

  • Dental implants

  • Teeth straightening with clear aligners like Invisalign

  • Cosmetic treatments, including safe and effective teeth whitening

For a general estimate or to discuss your options, feel free to call us on 01646 690580.

Because every smile is different, treatment costs can vary depending on complexity and materials used. Rather than rely on lengthy and often confusing price lists, we believe in giving clear, tailored advice based on your personal treatment plan.

Dental Plans & Insurance

We’ve chosen not to work with third-party plan providers like Denplan, DPAS, or Practice Plan, which often base monthly fees on estimated treatment needs—rather than the care you actually receive.

Instead, we’ve created our own flexible membership programme—designed to give you greater value, control, and peace of mind. Once your initial treatments are complete, you can choose to join at a level that suits you: Bronze, Silver, or Gold, each offering a tailored set of benefits for a fixed, affordable monthly fee.

Our Care Programme is designed to make looking after your smile simpler, less stressful, and more cost-effective. By spreading the cost of your routine dental care across the year, you avoid large one-off payments and enjoy exclusive membership benefits.

By joining, you're not only safeguarding your oral health but also making your visits easier, more convenient, and more rewarding.

Terms & Conditions

Appointments, Cancellations & Missed Appointments

To maintain the high standard of care we provide, we limit the number of patients we see each day. This allows us to allocate sufficient time for every appointment, ensuring your treatment is never rushed and is delivered to the highest possible standard.

As a result, please be aware of the following:

  • Delays: On rare occasions, treatment may run over due to unforeseen clinical needs. While we strive to keep to schedule, we appreciate your understanding if a short delay occurs.

  • Appointment Commitment: Because we do not double-book or overfill our diary—as is common in some practices—your appointment is reserved solely for you. This ensures the time and care you deserve.

  • Appointment Reminders: As a courtesy, we offer appointment reminders by text, email, or phone. However, this is a convenience, not a guarantee. It remains the patient’s responsibility to remember and attend scheduled appointments, regardless of whether a reminder is received.

  • Late Cancellations & Non-Attendance: If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require at least one full working day's notice (24 hours, Monday–Friday) to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide sufficient notice, or failure to attend without notice, will result in a missed appointment fee.

This fee is currently charged at £1 per minute of reserved time (e.g., £30 for a 30-minute appointment). This helps us cover overheads and staff time that cannot be reallocated at short notice.

Please remember: missed appointments not only affect our practice—they also prevent other patients from accessing much-needed care.

Terms of Payment

Our practice operates on a pay-as-you-go basis. This means you are only ever charged for the treatment you receive, and payment is due in full on the day of treatment, unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance with a member of the Dental Team.

For more extensive treatment plans, we are happy to discuss staged payments leading up to completion, with the final balance payable at the last appointment.

Please note the following additional payment terms:

  • As of 2011, and following the withdrawal of the cheque guarantee scheme, cheques are no longer accepted as a form of payment unless pre-agreed with the Dental Team.

  • Late payment without reasonable justification may incur interest charges on the outstanding balance, applied at the discretion of the practice.

  • In the absence of a prior written agreement, payment is required immediately upon receipt of any invoice.

  • Failure to settle payment within 28 days of the due date may result in the matter being referred to our appointed debt collection agency. Any additional charges incurred during this process will be added to and payable alongside the original invoice amount.
